This compact, second generation polyethylene kayak is designed for the medium to large paddler who seeks full British safety features in a Greenland style Nigel Dennis Kayak. At 16’ it's great for play, day or long weekend trips. Its hull cross section is based on the Romany Surf for liveliness, but with a bit more primary stability and a longer stern for more speed and glide. This boat is designed for the smaller kayaker using it for day paddling, play and shorter trips.

As with all the Romany series this responsive plastic kayak is all-day-comfortable while offering great play and surf for the better paddler. Its reasonably boxy rails offer good primary stability. A flattish hull promotes its surfing characteristics which also helps in a following sea. The kayak has been designed to fit a range of kayakers with plenty of room for large feet. Unique to RM plastic boats, this boat has a fiberglass cockpit rim.

This RM kayak has the new adjustable high performance glass seat, unless otherwise requested, and offers extra leg room due to the raised area, the knee bumps, either side of the cockpit. The seat can be set higher for a smaller paddler. The kayak has a low rear deck for easy rolling, a keyhole cockpit that gives excellent contact, control, and quick exits as needed.
