8th Maine is a Peaks Island landmark and is on the National Register of Historic Places. It has simple guest rooms with shared bathrooms and a large shared kitchen. From the huge wrap-around porch, you can enjoy spectacular views across Whitehead Passage. The Lodge is on the National Register of Historic Places and supports natural and sustainable practices, including an award winning clothes line for drying and airing clothing and bedding.
Close to the ferry dock, Peaks Island House has views across the water toward Portland. Rooms have private baths, and there is also a cottage with a small kitchen. Peaks Island House has a restaurant on-site with views across the bay.
