A Pageant of Spectacles: Chromolithography in America

A special exhibition at the Osher Map Library, which showcases full-color and realistic images produced by chromolithography and its particular applications to maps and bird’s-eye views. Chromolithography was used in the nineteenth century, especially for the scenic, the special, and the spectacular.
